SpaceX Successfully Launches Fram2 Mission: First Humans to Travel Over Earth’s Poles

SpaceX has achieved another historic milestone with the successful launch of its Fram2 mission, marking the first-ever human spaceflight to orbit Earth from pole to pole. Launched aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, the all-civilian crew will embark on a three to five-day journey in a 90-degree polar orbit. The mission aims to advance human spaceflight research by conducting 22 experiments, including the first x-ray taken in space and the growth of mushrooms in microgravity.

Exercise Tiger Triumph 2025: Strengthening India-US HADR Cooperation

The fourth edition of Exercise Tiger Triumph, a bilateral Tri-Service Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) exercise between India and the United States, is set to take place on the Eastern Seaboard from April 1 to April 13, 2025. The exercise aims to enhance interoperability in HADR operations, focusing on establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and a Combined Coordination Center (CCC). This will facilitate seamless coordination between Indian and US Joint Task Forces (JTF) during crisis situations. The exercise consists of two phases—the Harbour Phase at Visakhapatnam (April 1–7) and the Sea Phase off Kakinada (April 8–13). Both military forces will conduct joint maritime, amphibious, and HADR operations, including training visits, medical aid camps, and joint command exercises.

Ambuj Chandna Joins DBS Bank India as MD & Head of Consumer Banking Group

Ambuj Chandna, a veteran banker with over 16 years of experience at Kotak Mahindra Bank, has joined DBS Bank India as Managing Director (MD) and Head of Consumer Banking Group. His move to DBS India comes shortly after Rajat Verma took over as the CEO of DBS Bank India on March 1, 2025. Chandna was previously serving as President and Head of Consumer Bank (Products) at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he played a key role in the bank’s retail strategy. His transition marks one of the first major leadership changes under Verma’s tenure.
