The 54th National Safety Week is being observed across India from March 4 to March 10, 2025. This annual observance aims to raise awareness about safety measures across industries and workplaces to promote accident prevention and ensure employee well-being. The event is led by the National Safety Council (NSC) of India, which has been at the forefront of workplace safety for over five decades.

This year’s theme for National Safety Week 2025 is ‘Safety & Well-being Crucial for Viksit Bharat’, emphasizing the essential role of safety in achieving a developed and progressive India.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Raising Day is observed annually on March 10 to honor the contributions of the CISF in safeguarding critical government and private sector infrastructure in India.
