The International Dance Day 2026 will be celebrated on the 29 April 2026 around the world. This day highlights the dance as the powerful form of expression, culture and communication. It is also known as the World Dance Day and this occasion encourages people to all ages to connect through the movement and rhythm. This day observed every year on the birth anniversary of Jean-Georges Noverre and this day reminds us that dance will transcends the language and borders.

India Army to Host 11 Nations for First Edition of Exercise PRAGATI in Meghalaya

The Indian Army is set to host the military delegations from 11 friendly foreign countries for the inaugural edition of the Exercise PRAGATI. This exercise will take place at the the Foreign Training Node in the Umroi, Meghalaya. With this it marks the major initiative to enhance the military cooperation, interoperability and the mutual trust among the participating nations.

MD & CEO of B. Ramesh Babu Reappointed as Karur Vysya Bank

The Reserve Bank of India approved the reappointment of Ramesh Babu as MD & CEO of Karur Vysya Bank for a third term of two years. His new term will be effective from July 29, 2026, with RBI granting approval.

Vivek Tripathi Named ED & WTD at AU Small Finance Bank, RBI Gives Nod

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the appointment of Mr. Vivek Tripathi as the Executive Director (ED) of the AU Small Finance Bank for the period of three years. Mr. Vivek Tripathi will also take the charge as the Whole-time Director (WTD) and tenure will start from April 24, 2026 after the approval from the shareholders of the bank.

Turkey Bans Social Media Use for Under-15s

Turkey has passed a law banning the use of social media for children below the age of 15. Digital platforms are required to implement age verification measures and appoint a representative in Turkey if they have a large user base. Game software platforms are now included under the regulation, with mandatory age-based classification of games.
