World First Aid Day is observed every year on 11 September. Objective – To raise awareness about the vital role of first aid in preventing injuries and saving lives.

“Theme 2025 – First Aid and Climate Change” Established by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), this annual event takes place on the second Saturday of September.

CP Radhakrishnan officially assumed office as the 15th Vice President of India on September 12, 2025. President Droupadi Murmu administered the oath of office at a ceremony attended by several top dignitaries, marking Radhakrishnan’s entry as the second-highest constitutional authority in the country.

Held on 10–11 September 2025, Purple Fest 2025 brought together people, purpose, and policy to celebrate the creativity, resilience, and achievements of Divyangjan—persons with disabilities. In a historic step toward the internationalisation of Indian higher education, the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) inaugurated its first international campus in Dubai on 11 September 2025. India has officially entered the era of rapid regional transit with Namo Bharat, the nation’s fastest train, clocking a top speed of 160 km/h. Operating on the Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS), this high-speed marvel connects two key urban centers in under 60 minutes, redefining daily commuting in northern India. Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Durgadas Uikey launched the world’s first Digital Tribal University, Adi Sanskriti, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Adi Sanskriti is a digital academy and e-learning platform with an online marketplace for tribal art, culture, crafts, and knowledge systems for both national and global audiences. The initiative aims to preserve tribal heritage, create livelihood opportunities, and empower communities while promoting dignity and cultural preservation at the grassroots level.
