The Khelo India Para Games (KIPG) 2025 is set to take place in New Delhi from March 20-27, bringing together 1,230 para athletes, including top performers from the 2024 Paris Paralympics and 2022 Asian Para Games. Announced by Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, this second edition of KIPG aims to further promote para sports in India. The event will feature six major disciplines and will be hosted at premier sports venues across the capital.

Dr. Suborno Bose, Chairman of the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM), has been conferred the ‘Lifetime Achievement in Hospitality and Education Through Technology‘ award by Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Shekhawat at the Vibrant Bharat Global Summit 2025. Chinese architect and educator Liu Jiakun has won the 2025 Pritzker Architecture Prize, the most important award in architecture. This prize honors him for combining traditional Chinese styles with modern design and for his efforts to create fair and inclusive spaces. Jiakun, who was born and still works in Chengdu, China, is the second Chinese architect to receive this award after Wang Shu in 2012.

The Defence Bio-Engineering & Electro Medical Laboratory (DEBEL) has achieved milestone in defence technology with the successful high-altitude trials of the Indigenous On-Board Oxygen Generating System (OBOGS)-based Integrated Life Support System (ILSS) for the LCA Tejas aircraft. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has appointed Dr. Ajit Ratnakar Joshi as its new Executive Director (ED) with effect from March 3, 2025.
