World Pneumonia Day, observed each year on November 12, is dedicated to raising awareness about pneumonia, a potentially life-threatening yet preventable and treatable respiratory illness. The day brings global attention to pneumonia’s impact, particularly among children under five and the elderly, who are most vulnerable.
