In a momentous announcement, the prestigious Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Award will be presented to the esteemed Hindi cinema actor, Amitabh Bachchan, this year. The Government of India has appointed Vice Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi, PVSM, AVSM, NM, currently serving as the Vice Chief of the Naval Staff, as the next Chief of the Naval Staff with effect from the afternoon of April 30, 2024.
