Wipro Appoints New CEO: Srinivas Pallia
Wipro, the IT giant, has announced the resignation of its CEO, Thierry Delaporte. In his place, the company’s Board of Directors has appointed Srinivas Pallia as the new Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, effective April 7, 2024. Delaporte, a French national with over three decades of experience in the global IT industry, previously served as the Chief Operating Officer at Capgemini. He was appointed as Wipro’s CEO in July 2020 and has since steered the company with his extensive expertise. Delaporte was known as the highest-paid CEO in the Indian IT sector, earning an annual salary of over Rs 82 crore.

Meenesh Shah Elected as Chairman of NCDFI
The National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India Ltd. (NCDFI), the national-level apex dairy cooperative, has elected its new Board of Directors. In the elections held, Dr. Meenesh Shah was unanimously chosen as the new Chairman of the organization. The election process was conducted by Praveen Chaudhary, IAS, the District Collector of Anand, who served as the Returning Officer. Prior to the Board elections, the NCDFI General Body had elected eight directors to the Board in an unopposed process on April 04, 2024.
