November 25 marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, a pivotal day designated by the United Nations to raise awareness and address the global issue of violence faced by women. This day, part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence campaign, aims to shed light on the pervasive nature of violence against women and promote proactive measures to prevent such atrocities.

The 17th edition of the Joint Military Exercise SURYA KIRAN is set to strengthen the longstanding ties between India and Nepal as military contingents from both nations converge in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, for this annual event.
