Reliance Industries to build world’s largest carbon fibre plant

Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani has announced to build of India’s first and one of the world’s largest Carbon Fibre plants at Hazira, Gujarat. The plants will have a capacity of 20,000 MTPA based on Acrylonitrile feedstock. Overall, in the Oil to Chemical segment (O2C), Ambani Ambani announced an investment of Rs 75,000 crore over the next five years to expand capacities in existing and new value chains.

25 Years Of Indo-Naga Peace Talks

Recently, on August 1, 2022, the NSCN (I-M) observed the 25th anniversary of the “Indo-Naga” ceasefire with the release of a booklet titled “25 Years of Indo-Naga Ceasefire (1997-2022)”.The NSCN-IM signed a ceasefire agreement with the Government of India on July 25, 1997, which became effective on August 1, 1997. This heralded the start of Indo-Naga peace talks.

World’s Largest Temple To Open At Nadia, West Bengal

The world’s largest religious monument is expected to cost $100 million and replace Cambodia’s 400-acre-large Angkor Wat temple complex. In addition to becoming the largest religious monument in the world, the Temple of Vedic Planetarium in West Bengal, which will serve as the headquarters of the International Society of Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), will also have the world’s biggest dome.

India vs Hong Kong Asia Cup 2022: India Qualifies for Super 4s

In the 4th match of Asia Cup 2022, India vs Hong Kong, India won by 40 runs and with this India also qualified for Super 4s. The match was held in Dubai International Cricket Stadium. IFS Nagesh Singh named as India’s ambassador to Thailand

An Indian Foreign Service officer of the 1995 batch, Nagesh Singh has been appointed as India’s next ambassador to Thailand. He will replace the incumbent ambassador Suchitra Durai.  Bilateral relations between India and Thailand continued to strengthen during 2021, marked by cooperation at regional and sub-regional levels within the framework of ASEAN.
