World Homoeopathy Day 2026

Every year on 10th of April World Homoeopathy Day is observed. This day is marking the birth anniversary of the Samuel Hahnemann who is the founder of homoeopathy. In the 2026 the theme is “Homoeopathy for Sustainable Health” and this theme reflects the growing importance of the holistic and preventive healthcare system. India has the largest homoeopathic workforce in the world and it is playing a key role in advancing this system via policy support, research and the integration into public healthcare.

India-Egypt Joint Special Forces Exercise 2026 Kicks Off in Anshas

Indian Army has sent the contingent to Egypt for the fourth edition of the India-Egypt Joint Special Forces Exercise which is known as Cyclone-IV. This edition will be scheduled from April 9 to 17, 2026. This exercise will take place at Anshas and will brings together the elite troops from both nations. This joint drill showcase the growing strategic partnership between India and Egypt and also with the strong focus on different areas.

Geetanjali Om Parkash Wins Mrs International World Classic 2026

Geetanjali Om Parkash won the title of Mrs International World Classic 2026 at the grand finale held in Kuala Lumpur. This victory marks the first time India has secured this prestigious international crown. ACC Appoints Sanjay Khanna as BPCL Chairman and Managing Director

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has appointed Sanjay Khanna as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). This appointment was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet and he will lead the company until May 31, 2029. As he over three decades of experience in the refinery operations and technical services.

Blanka Vlašić Named Ambassador for World 10K Bengaluru 2026

Croatia High Jumper Blanka Vlašić has been appointed as the International Event Ambassador for the World 10K Bengaluru 2026, scheduled to be held on April 26. The event is a World Athletics Gold Label Race, known for attracting top international runners along with large-scale public participation. Blanka Vlašić is a double Olympic medallist (silver at the Beijing 2008 Olympics and bronze at the Rio 2016 Olympics) and a two-time world champion, holding a personal best jump of 2.08 m.
