On 20th May every year World Bee Day observes all around the world. This day being observes to raise the awareness about the crucial role of bees and other pollinators in maintaining food security, biodiversity and ecological balance. As the pollinators populations declining globally World Bee Day 2026 serves as the timely reminder to protecting the bees for the agriculture, livelihoods, and the planet’s future. Nepali mountaineer Kami Rita Sherpa created history by climbing Mount Everest for a record 32nd time, breaking his own record for the most ascents of the world’s highest peak. Born in Solukhumbu district of Nepal, Kami Rita Sherpa began his mountaineering career in 1992 and first successfully summited Everest in 1994, completing his 31st ascent last year.
