INS Tamal Commissioned in Kaliningrad

India marked a major naval milestone with the commissioning of INS Tamal (F71) on July 1, 2025, at Yantar Shipyard in Kaliningrad, Russia. This stealth guided missile frigate is the last major warship to be built abroad for the Indian Navy, aligning with India’s push toward defence self-reliance under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India initiatives. IFFCO Sets Up First Overseas Nano Fertiliser Plant in Brazil

In a major step towards expanding India’s agricultural innovation footprint globally, the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative (IFFCO) is establishing its first overseas nano fertiliser manufacturing plant in Brazil. This strategic move, in partnership with Brazilian company NANOFERT, aims to tap into the growing demand for sustainable and efficient crop nutrition solutions. The plant, with an annual capacity of 4.5 million litres, will cater to crops like corn, soybean, and sugarcane, widely cultivated in South America.
