Samvidhaan Hatya Diwas is observed every year on 25th June to remember the day in 1975 when the Indian Constitution was severely undermined during the Emergency period, and to pay homage to those who suffered due to its excesses.

On 25th June 1975, President Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed declared a state of Emergency under Article 352, citing internal disturbances amid political unrest and judicial challenges to Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s government.

India’s First Butterfly Sanctuary Inaugurated in Kerala’s Aralam Forest

The Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary in Kannur district has officially been renamed the Aralam Butterfly Sanctuary, marking a first-of-its-kind move in the country. IFFCO Sets Up First Overseas Nano Fertiliser Plant in Brazil

In a major step towards expanding India’s agricultural innovation footprint globally, the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative (IFFCO) is establishing its first overseas nano fertiliser manufacturing plant in Brazil. This strategic move, in partnership with Brazilian company NANOFERT, aims to tap into the growing demand for sustainable and efficient crop nutrition solutions. The plant, with an annual capacity of 4.5 million litres, will cater to crops like corn, soybean, and sugarcane, widely cultivated in South America.
