The Staff Selection Commission is an authorized organization working under the Government of India. The SSC does all the required procedures for recruitment of candidates for various posts in Departments and Ministries in Government of India. The SSC releases notifications every year for recruitment for various posts. Candidates are selected, based upon their performance in the exams, conducted by SSC.

The Staff Selection Commission holds examination for recruitment of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF, the details of which are as under;

Sub-Inspector in CAPFs : (Central Armed Police Forces) The post carries pay scale of Rs 9300-34800 in Pay Band 2 with Grade Pay of Rs 4200 and is classified as Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.

Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF : The post carries pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 in Pay Band 2 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/- and is classified as Group ‘C’.
The Exam is conducted online from 2016.

These selection rounds are organized by recruitment board of Delhi Police Department.

The age limit of the candidates should be from 20 to 25 years i.e.
