The World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2026 is observed on the 28th April every year. This day is observed to promote the safe and healthy working in the different conditions across the world. The day is led by the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the day also focuses on to prevent the workplace accidents, occupational diseases and to improving the overall worker well-being. It also honors the workers who have lost their lives or suffered injuries due to the unsafe environments and it encourages the stronger safety standards worldwide. The theme for the World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2026 is the ‘Good psychosocial working environments: A pathway to thriving workers and strong organizations.’
