Paradip Port Authority Wins Swachhata Pakhwada Award 2025

Paradip Port Authority (PPA) won the First Prize at the Swachhata Pakhwada Awards 2025, conferred by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, for excellence in cleanliness, sustainability and community participation under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The award was presented in New Delhi by Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and was received by P. L. Haranadh, Chairman, PPA, in the presence of senior officials of the Ministry.

Bhutan Queen Mother conferred ‘Soldier of Humanity’ award in Assam

Bhutan’s Queen Mother Gyalyum Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck was conferred the 22nd Upendra Nath Brahma ‘Soldier of Humanity’ Award 2025 at Bodoland University, Kokrajhar, Assam. The award was presented by the Upendra Nath Brahma Trust (UNBT) in recognition of her lifelong contributions to humanitarian service, social development and inclusive growth.
