India, Maldives and Sri Lanka have launched Exercise DOSTI in Male to enhance maritime cooperation and collective security in the Indian Ocean. The trilateral naval drill focuses on search and rescue, communication, and coordination to address shared regional security challenges. A new phase of regional maritime cooperation has begun in the Indian Ocean region with the launch of Exercise DOSTI-17. The joint naval drill involving India, Maldives and Sri Lanka is being held in Male, aiming to enhance coordination among the three neighbouring countries.
