Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL) has commissioned India’s first off-grid 5 MW green hydrogen pilot plant in Kutch, Gujarat, powered entirely by solar energy and integrated with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), marking a significant step toward the National Green Hydrogen Mission. The plant uses a fully automated, closed-loop electrolyser system that dynamically adjusts to renewable energy inputs, showcasing technological feasibility, operational flexibility, and efficiency in managing solar power variability.
