World Autism Awareness Day 2026

World Autism Awareness Day 2026 is observed on the 2nd April every year. The day observed the global effort to promote understanding, acceptance and the inclusion of individuals with autism. It was firstly initiated by the United Nations in 2007 and this day go more than awareness and also focuses on to breaking the myths and supporting the people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The theme for 2026 is ‘Autism and Humanity – Every Life Has Value.’
RBI Foundation Day 2026

On the 1st of April India observed the foundation day of the Reserve Bank of India which was established in the year 1935. RBI is the India’s central bank and plays the crucial role in the monetary policy, controls inflation and also manage currency fluctuation and regulates the banking system. Indian Army Appoints New Commanders for Southern, Eastern, and Western Commands

Indian Army has appointed the several new commanders to the its three major operational formations which are Southern, Eastern and Western Commands on the 1st April, 2026. on April 1, 2026. The transition is coming at that time where India looking to on the operational readiness with technological integration and strategic preparedness. These newly appointed commanders are expected to strengthen the Indian Army’s capabilities.
- Lt Gen Sandeep Jain has assumed the command of the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) in the Southern Command.
- LT Gen VMB Krishnan has taken over as the position of GOC-in-C in the Eastern Command. he will be succeed the Lt Gen RC Tiwari.
- Lt Gen Pushpendra Pal Singh has took the charge as the GOC-in-C in the Western Command. Right now it is the most strategically critical formations for the defense.
Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth Takes Over as Vice Chief Amid Army Modernization Push

Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth has officially taken the charge as the Vice Chief of the Army Staff. This experienced veteran had a long and the distinguished career within the service for nearly four decades. He took the charge when the Indian Army is focusing on the modernization and preparedness for the future need. His vast experience in the operations, planning and the command positions expected to strengthen the army at high level. Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth has assumed the of the most important position in the Indian Army. He is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy (NDA) and he was commissioned into the Armored Corps in the December 1986. Since the joining he had developed the strong image for the handling complex military operations and the strategic responsibilities.

India’s First Quantum Computer to be Launch in Amaravati: Chandrababu Naidu Announces

For the major leap in the advanced technology as the Andhra Pradesh will launch the India’s first quantum computer on the April 14, 2026 in Amaravati. It was announced by the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naid and this initiative is part of the state’s ambitious Amaravati Quantum Valley project. The program was backed by the strong industry partnerships and the National Quantum Mission. And with this it aims to position the India as the global leader in next-generation computing and the innovation.
